PRESENTER GUIDELINES FOR FIRST FRIDAY GREENCASTLE
 

First Friday Greencastle is a family friendly event. All participating individuals and organizations are expected to follow the established guidelines.

First time presenters are required to submit three photos of their original work. Performers will submit a sample of their work on disc, tape or other electronically transmitted format. Authors doing a book signing should forward a brief (25 words or less) synopsis of the work to be presented. Returning presenters Do Not need to submit samples of work, provided it similar to what was presented at a prior First Friday.

Visual artists and fine craftspersons may show and sell their own original work. No imports, kits or items made from kits are permitted.

Demonstrating your talent is always appreciated by the public and is an excellent way to promote your art, when feasible.

Display or sale of inappropriate items such as guns, knives, sexual or drug related paraphernalia or work depicting such items is strictly prohibited. Event participants will conduct themselves in a manner fitting with the family friendly environment. Use of profanity, sexually explicit or violent images on t-shirts or other items of clothing is not acceptable. The First Friday Committee reserves the right to ask that any inappropriate items be removed.

Every effort will be made to place you in or near a business location that will be advertised in advance, however the First Friday committee reserves the right to make last minute changes if circumstances warrant.

All presenters are to be set up and in place twenty minutes prior to the beginning of the event and are further expected to remain at that location for the duration of the event.

First Friday is not responsible for any damage, injury or loses to any persons or goods from any cause. Presenters acknowledge this by their participation.
