Greencastle-Antrim has a number of attractions. We have a vibrant downtown center which is anchored by E.L. M. department store and E.L.M. Shoes, Studio U on the square, Lucky Girl Vintage, and BB&T Bank.
A stroll along Carlisle Street brings you to some unique shops including Willow Tree Gifts and Crown Vetch Cottage, a vintage boutique of wonderful treasures for the home. Head north on Baltimore Street and stop in at the Jewelry Shop, the shop, Inner Beauty, or the delightful Joyful Arts Studio. If you get hungry or thirsty, stop in at B Street 104 for lunch or dinner or a drink at their newly designed bar.
We’d love to see you at our office at 217 E. Baltimore Street where you can pick up many brochures and magazines, and find many business cards from our members. You may also take with you a walking map of downtown Greencastle (soon), a driving tour of the township, directions to the Allison-Antrim Museum, and the Rescue Hose Company Museum.
In addition to our downtown area, we have a number of other attractions and businesses that support our local community. As you drive into Greencastle on Route 11, you will be met by a number of great retail shops, businesses and eateries including Antrim Way Honda–which is much more than a beautiful showroom of cars. They boost a wonderful cafe, a walking track, a putting green and a retail gift shop which are all open to the public. Across the street is the ever popular Mikie’s Ice Cream and Green Cow Gift Shop and the new (location) of the John Allison Public House.
Whatever you are in the mood for, Greencastle is the destination. Our community of teachers, residents, business people, shopkeepers, volunteers and elected officials make Greencastle-Antrim a wonderful place to live, shop, dine and discover.
Just out of town is the 136-acre Antrim Township Community Park, where you can play disc golf, exercise on the path that meanders through the park, or gather at a pavilion. Soccer and softball fields are also found here. A short hike or drive down the hill takes you to Conococheague Creek and the historic Martin’s Mill Bridge.
