Five Chambers Host
Candidate Meet & Greet

The five Chambers of Commerce in Franklin County (Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce, Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce, Tuscarora Chamber of Commerce, Greater Shippensburg Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce) are hosting a Candidate Meet and Greet at Green Grove Gardens on April 26, 2018 from 5-7 PM for Members and 7-8 PM for the public.

Candidates running for Pennsylvania Governor, PA House of Representatives representing the 78th and 90th District, State Senator (representing Franklin County) and U.S. House of Representatives representing the 9th Congressional District have been invited to attend this event.

To date, Representative Paul Schemel (90th District), Representative Jesse Topper (78th District), Ben Hornberger Candidate for the 13th Congressional District (old 9th), Stephen Bloom, Candidate for the 13th Congressional District (old 9th), Doug Mastriano, Candidate for the 13th Congressional District (old 9th), Travis Schooley, Candidate for the 13th Congressional District (old 9th), John Eichelberger, Candidate for the 13th Congressional District (old 9th), Dr. John Joyce, Candidate for the 13th Congressional District (old 9th), Bernie Washabaugh, Candidate for the 13th Congressional District (old 9th), Judy Ward, Candidate for State Senate and Emily Best, Candidate for the State Senate have committed to coming to the event.

It is the intention of the five Chambers that this event truly be a mixer style event: informal, lively, fluid, yet informative. “We want to offer our members and the public a chance to interact with different candidates running for different offices, as well as give candidates a chance to meet and talk with voters from Franklin County”, says Georgina Cranston, Executive Director for the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber.
