Orrstown Celebrates 100 Years with $100,000 Donation
Shippensburg, PA (April 23, 2019) – Orrstown Bank, which is currently celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding, today announced that it is contributing $100,000 to Menno Haven in support of its “Nurturing the Human Spirit: A Campaign for Menno Haven’s Future” efforts. The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds for the construction of a new rehabilitation center, two memory care houses, a resident life center, and a new health care center within the Menno Haven community.
“Giving back to the communities we serve has been central to our mission as a strong, locally-owned community bank for the past 100 years,” said Joel Zullinger, Chairman of the Board of Orrstown. “The services that Menno Haven provides many of our customers, their families, and our neighbors are vital to the overall health and wellness of our community. We are grateful for the partnership that Orrstown Bank and Menno Haven have enjoyed for many years and are proud to provide the support needed to ensure a bright future for this important community asset.”
At a special event held in Menno Haven’s new rehabilitation center, members of Orrstown’s board and executive management group presented the $100,000 contribution to the leaders of Menno Haven.
