The Light It Up decorating contest returns in 2025 to raise money for the Greencastle-Antrim Food Pantry! We’ve added more categories for contestants to enter, so register your home, neighborhood, or business to create your best holiday display.

TASTE OF THE HOLIDAYS STROLL
Spend the afternoon strolling our streets, shopping from local merchants, and enjoying treats from participating businesses. Early bird tickets are $15 and will go on sale November 1st, available online and at the Chamber office. Your ticket includes a tote bag, a “Taste of the Holidays” passport, and a voucher for 10% off at Hidden Key during the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. Day-of tickets will be available for $20.

UGLY SWEATER CONTEST
Get ready to show off your festive spirit! We’re having an ugly holiday sweater contest, and it’s time to dig through your drawers and closets to find the “best” of your worst holiday sweaters. If you don’t already own one, this is your chance to get creative and make your own! Feel free to use anything you can find around the house—lights, tinsel, bells, and other decorations—to create a truly festive tunic for a night of holiday cheer.

SCAVENGER HUNT
Primary & Elementary school-aged student can win prizes when they complete the Scavenger Hunt. They will look to find images in the downtown business windows. The scavenger hunt is located in the Heritage Christmas Song Book available from the Chamber or at Holiday House during Tree Lighting or Heritage Christmas in the Square. Return the completed form to the Holiday House or the Chamber and collect your prize.

HERITAGE CHRISTMAS IN THE SQUARE
Continue a family tradition, or start a new one by joining in Heritage Christmas in the Square! Stroll through downtown Greencastle and enjoy the tree in Center Square, entertainment, giveaways and tasty treats from local community groups, food vendors and more!

LETTERS TO SANTA
Write your letters to Santa and have them posted in the bright red Santa’s Mailbox, sponsored by Corning Credit Union. Drop off your letters in the mailbox, located in the northeast corner of the Square near E.L.M. Department Store and ELM Shoes. If you include your address, Santa’s helpers will write you back!

The Chamber The 2025 Greencastle-Antrim Heritage Christmas ornament will soon be announced! Ornaments are $20 and cash or check are accepted.

HORSE & WAGON RIDES
Enjoy a ride around town in a horse-pulled wagon during Heritage Christmas in the Square. Rides run continuously between 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Advanced tickets are available beginning November 1st for the the Rides.

ANTRIM WINTER WONDERLAND
Join us at Antrim Township Park for a Saturday evening of outdoor activities. Capture some fun memories with photos featuring the Grinch and at the historic Martin’s Mill Bridge. Antrim Township will provide shuttle service between the Park and the Bridge, which will be beautifully decorated for the season.
