Troop 199 will be holding its annual Gala Banquet on April 17th at the Blue Heron featuring a gourmet meal, awards ceremony for the scouts and a silent auction. Tickets are $25 and donation items are still needed for auction. The goal of the gala is to raise money to send all scouts to camp this summer and to buy some much needed camping gear. 100% of proceeds go directly to the troop. The deadline is April 8. Delinda’s Helping Hands will hold a Quarter Auction on Saturday, April 10, to benefit the Greencastle Lions Club. It will be held at the Wacohu Grange Hall, 16412 National Pike, Hagerstown. Doors open at 11:00 AM with the Auction beginning at 11;30 AM. The cost is $5 for two paddles. Raffles, 50/50 and food will also be available to purchase.
