Woods, Wattle & Water Studies at the Conococheague Institute

Celebrate the beauty of the environment at the Conococheague Institute near Mercersburg, PA for a weekend of Nature Activities.
Thanks to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s K10Million trees project, CI has 150 trees to plant in their Woodlot as part of the Riparian Stream Buffer.
Join them in learning about the importance of trees as we all work to ensure a healthier environment.

-Step into the Garden and discover Colonial Recycling! CI’s Historic Warden will be leading visitors in constructing Wattles, Trellises, and other vegetable support using nothing more than old sticks
-Other activities, exhibits, and Gift shop will be available throughout the weekend.Note: Covid safety guidelines will be enforced for the safety of all participants
